We are pleased to announce a new Urban Engine 2.10.1 release, which can be downloaded here. This version is now live on the UC Portal so online clients will already be able to take advantage of these new features / fixes.

Streaming Projects Migrated to AWS S3
All projects are now added to Amazon Web Services S3 (with FTP mirrored for older versions). Removing FTP downloads was requested by some client IT departments. The update also provides the benefit of better security and faster start-up times as well as fewer changes by corporate IT departments (ie. firewall permissions).
Login Notifications
Ability to send notifications (including hyperlinks) to desktop UE at user login. These notifications are configured dynamically so users can receive vital information (such as new releases) and links to more detailed information.
Minor Changes / Bug Fixes
- Login details are now sent via http auth headers as requested by some client IT departments.
- Fixed traffic not loading properly in downloaded scenes.
- Fixed small latency issue during in-scene load events (subspace loads).
